The EuroVelo routes make up a Europe-wide cycling route network and can be found at www.eurovelo.com.

Finland has three Eurovelo routes that are currently under development. The Euro-Velo routes 10 and 11 follow the national cycling routes.

EuroVelo 10 runs from the Vaalimaa border-crossing point along the King’s Road via Helsinki to Turku. It continues from Turku along the west coast up to Tornio.

EuroVelo 11 runs from Helsinki to Jyväskylä and continues via Kuopio to Kajaani and further on via Oulu to Rovaniemi, Ivalo and Karigasniemi.

EuroVelo 13 is an Iron Curtain Trail, travelling from Vaalimaa along the eastern border up to the Arctic Ocean. More information on the route is available at the Home Stay project site. The route is divided into sections with accommodation options, sights and a route map available through Google Maps.
